Survivor: Vanuatu - Islands of Fire was the second season of CK's Survivor. It began on May 17, 2013 with the final jury votes being read on June 10, 2013. It featured eighteen castaways divided into two tribes of nine. The merge occurred at the final ten, and the jury started at final nine where eventually a jury of seven went up against the final two.
In a close 3-2 vote, dolphinsoccer4 emerged victorious over Ethan000 as the jury saw Dolphin's less aggressive overall performance as more deserving than Ethan's gameplay.
This season's primary twist was the Black Ruby twist. Because of this twist, at the beginning of the game when Lopevi won the first Immunity challenge, dolphinsoccer4 was sent over to Yasur with the Black Ruby. It acted as an Immunity Necklace, and dolphinsoccer4 would act as a member of Yasur until they won a challenge which they eventually did on Day 4. Dolphin chose Papabear77 to join him on Lopevi with the Black Ruby as he returned to Lopevi.
After six castaways were voted off, the tribes were shuffled into equal numbers. Two more castaways, Matt99 and cancanpiano, were voted out in this phase of the game.
At the final ten, the two tribes merged into the Alinta tribe, wearing orange buffs. In a crazy first merge tribal, SurvivorRulz96 played an idol, leading to a 2-2 tie. The vote tied again, and illwinthis drew the Purple Rock and became the last person eliminated before the jury. At the next tribal SurvivorRulz pulled out another idol, blindsiding bboyTACOguy and making him the first member of the Jury.
After the Survivor Auction on Day 11, it was revealed that there would be two urns to vote in at tribal council. With all the twists in play that dealt with idols and voting, the tribal was one of a kind. NJDevil19 was voted off 5-1 where he became the third juror; Crazy_Clown123 was voted off with 5 votes after Dolphin played an idol, negating Crazy's vote and making him the fourth juror.
